Financial Services Investigation Litigation Lawyer

Job Introduction

We have an immediate need Financial Crime Litigation Lawyer for a 3-6 month project within our Financial Services Disputes and Investigations Group to assist with an increasing case load from our clients. The successful candidate will join our contractor resource pool but will be instantly allocated to this work stream in line with the demands of the project. 

Role Responsibility

We are seeking Qualified Solicitors/Lawyers who will be able to support with a litigation caseload.  The successful candidate will be part of a flexible resourcing solution and will specialise in contentious work for a wide range of financial institutions including major banks, niche mortgage lenders, building societies and international banks.  

Responsibilities will include;

  • Advise on and manage claims and potential claims on criminal litigation and financial crime risk issues.

    Advise on and manage internal and external investigations. 

  •  Help ensure the delivery of functionally excellent litigation and investigation services.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified solicitor or barrister in any jurisdiction
  • 2+ years PQE 
  • Experience in financial crime and regulation, including dispute resolution
  • Experience with Section 75 claims would be desirable
  • Enthusiastic to learn and develop
  • Able to operate effectively within a team environment 
  • Excellent communication and self-management skills
