Glasgow 2020 Vacation Scheme for Training Contract in 2022

Job Introduction

Thank you for your interest in applying for a Vacation Scheme place and Training Contract with TLT in our Glasgow office.  

As part of your application,  you may be asked to complete a verbal reasoning test as well as a video interview.   If your application is successful, you will also be invited to attend an Assessment Day.

During the Assessment Day you will complete a team building exercise, presentation, and written test.  If you are offered a Vacation Scheme place, you will complete an interview during your time at the firm.    

Our Vacation Schemes run during Easter and Summer.   

Role Responsibility

You will have the opportunity to meet a wide range of the firm's employees during the assessment day and vacation scheme.  

During your vacation scheme, we will allocate you to a specific team for the week with real work, lots of interaction with senior TLT members and regular client contact.

You’ll have the opportunity to socialise with our current trainees who fully understand the challenges you'll face – make sure you pick their brains for advice. You will also meet with Partners over breakfast seminars, information meetings and a more relaxed dinner: this will cement your experience and help you fully grasp what it means to work for TLT.

The Vacation Scheme Assessment includes a strength-based interview conducted by a partner and a member of the management team. This type of interview is designed to determine your natural strengths and weaknesses – what drives you and what you find challenging. It helps us to identify people with the best potential to succeed.

What we look for:

  • A minimum 300/24 UCAS points consisting only of A-level A & B grades.
