Legal Secretary - Real Estate

Job Introduction

We're recruiting for a Legal Secretary in our Real Estate in Bristol.  This is a fantastic opportunity for you as a Legal Secretary to be part of one of the foremost real estate groups in the Bristol region with over 160 staff.

Role Responsibility

As a Legal Secretary your day to day remit includes:

  • Secretarial and administrative tasks supporting a Partner, Legal Director and the wider team.
  • Digital dictation (audio typing), including preparing and amending documents.
  • Creating/amending documents.  Documents will include leases, options licenses, contracts, transfers etc.
  • Assisting the segment Team/Group with overflow typing.
  • Managing diary appointments and making arrangements for meetings.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Legal secretarial experience is essential and real estate experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong IT systems skills are required with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of Outlook for Emails and Diary Management. 
  • Experience of a document management system would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner and client care expertise are essential.
