Paralegal / Legal Assistant - Litigation
We are recruiting for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our Financial Services Disputes team in Belfast. You will report to the Partner within our Financial Services Disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for your own cases, under supervision, focusing on professional negligence, banking litigation and general commercial litigation for a number of our key financial institution clients.

As a member of our Support team you will be a vital part of our continued success. There isn't an "us and them" mentality and you will be recognised for your hard work and support.
As a Legal Assistant your day to day remit includes:
- Investigating and analysing claims, preparing draft advices.
- Instructing experts and carrying out Initial review of expert reports.
- Drafting correspondence.
- Reviewing disclosure documents received from other parties.
- Assisting with recording, reporting on and analysing management information.
The Ideal Candidate

- Previous legal assistant experience is useful (but not essential).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.
- An ability and willingness to work as part of a busy team with a significant case load.
- Experience within litigation would be desirable, however full training will be provided.
