Senior Corporate Lawyer
Our Belfast office plays a central role in TLT’s UK strategy and allows us to have a presence in all 3 jurisdictions. We are looking to expand our service provision further in Northern Ireland and we are recruiting for a Senior Corporate Lawyer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate, Legal Director or Partner to develop and lead our Corporate service. The wider Corporate team numbers in excess of 30 fee earners including 10 Partners, many of whom are recognised by Chambers, and focuses on a broad range of M&As, private equity, turn around, capital markets and renewables work.

Transactions typically divide into the strategic advice and lead negotiations, key documents, ancillary documents and due diligence.This role will be assist with a wide variety of matters, including acting on M&A deals for vendors, SME’s and listed corporates.
The Ideal Candidate

- A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years post qualified experience gained within recognised, notable law firms.
- A proven track record delivering a Corporate legal service. We are open as to whether you specialise within a field such a renewables, or undertake broader M&A work.
- Drive and enthusiasm to build a practice through effective business development initiatives. You will be given ample support from the wider Corporate and Business Development teams, as well as the Belfast office.
- You will be adept at cross-selling and supporting the growth of other practice areas.
- Prior supervision experience is beneficial, but not essential as full management and leadership training will be provided.
