Temporary Legal Assistant

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to work out of our Bristol Office on a business critical project relating to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) due to come into effect in May 2018. We are looking for a candidate on a temporary basis. 

 

Client service delivery is at the heart of TLT. We increase efficiency by using our expertise, people and systems through initiatives such as our Document Review and Collation (DRC) team.

 

DRC provides services related to pre-action disclosure, data subject access requests, reviewing documents for key issues or terms, collation and indexing of documents and creation of bundles for trials or other hearings; they are experienced in the use of e-disclosure products and are available to assist on projects where their services are required.

 

The DRC team is a centre of excellence for document review and collation throughout TLT. Working as part of a wider partner led team you will be reviewing and amending a significant number of supplier responses to GDPR compliant client clauses.

Role Responsibility

•           Managing and responding to supplier responses based on an agreed workflow and guidance provided.

•           Assisting with managing workflow via IT platform.

•           Working alongside the internal client team and project managers.

Knowledge of GDPR and of general commercial contracts would be preferable; a general understanding of Data Protection and an ongoing willingness to understand GDPR's application to this area would be advantageous.
