Design Coordinator

Role Responsibility

  • Supporting the Marketing Communications team to establish efficient processes
  • Create and maintain Marketing Communications request forms and workflows
  • Provide project management support to the Marketing Communications team where required
  • Managing the brand and design workflow, setting deadlines and managing stakeholder expectations for creative work (in conjunction with Brand and Design Manager)
  • Interpreting briefs and using feedback from key stakeholders to carry out minor amends to design documents
  • Preparing artwork files and sending to external suppliers
  • Liaising with external suppliers to obtain costs, specifications, etc.
  • Brand guardian, ensuring all design assets created are done so with consistency and within our brand visual identity
  • Assisting with the creation of the digital asset libraries for firm wide use
  • Establishing good relationship with our Business Development, Bids and Document Lifecycle Services teams and working with them to raise standard of firm wide documents
  • Managing external agencies/freelancers when additional support is needed and the associated admin to support this
  • Supporting digital team with publishing content to website and social channels when required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in project management/client account management working with a design team either in-house or within a design agency
  • Knowledge of design team systems and processes to deliver work efficiently
  • Experience of working with brand guidelines to deliver work across a range of channels
  • Strong creative, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in interpreting briefs, estimating turnaround times and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, matrixed organisation
  • Proactively recommend creative solutions for marketing briefs
  • A key eye for detail - maintaining quality checks on all output
  • Good communicator, able to work with other functions and stakeholders at all levels of the firm
  • Confident working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of print and digital channels and asset creation for these channels
  • Experienced in Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat
  • Knowledge of UX design principles and a user centred approach welcome.
  • Knowledge of law firm systems, processes and platforms a bonus
  • Good knowledge of Word and PPT
  • Good humoured and positive outlook
