HR Data Analyst

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for an HR Data Analyst to join TLT. This is a newly created role sitting within the HR Operations team, reporting to the Senior HR Systems and Reporting Analyst. This role will be responsible for ensuring high data and reporting quality to support the Firm's People Strategy and ambitions.

Role Responsibility

Data, Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist with regular data audits/data cleanse activities to ensure accurate, consistent and complete data in the HRIS and compliance with GDPR.
  • Run regular monthly HR reports based on agreed specifications and create bespoke Business Object reports and other Management Information in response to business needs.
  • Proactively identify improvements to our reporting capability to ensure timely and accurate information is available meets regulatory and legislative requirements to the required standards. 
  • Ensure the reporting approach is standardised and produced, whilst analysing and informing stakeholders of results. Design report content and formats that meet routine and ad-hoc information requirements / requests.
  • Assist with analysing and visualising survey outcome.



  • Support colleagues and users in their use of the system where required including with training and coaching of new team members. Assist with regular User Acceptance Testing.
  • Support the implementation of changes to the system that will enhance the user experience for the wider team and maximise the use of inbuilt functionality.

  • Relevant reporting experience gained within a HR function.
  • Experience of using Business Objects and iTrent (HRIS) is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Data Analysis (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulae).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail and great communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills - able to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams. Take personal accountability for all deliverables, work proactively and at pace to deliver required milestones.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
