Property Litigation Lawyer - Contract

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a property litigation Contract Lawyer to support our Real Estate team. The Property Litigation Team is one of the teams within the Real Estate Group.

We have a broad practice in property litigation, advising clients with expertise in the leisure, retail and financial services sectors on a wide variety of contentious matters. These include landlord and tenant disputes, rent reviews and lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and contractual disputes. We also give strategic advice on the management of property portfolios. We act for commercial landlords and tenants, public sector bodies and housing associations, property developers, investors, telecoms operators, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners.

We offer fully flexible working for all of our contractors, if you do wish to go into the office occasional we can make this happen. Competitive day rate, must work via an umbrella company.

Role Responsibility

Key duties you will be involved with include:

  • Act for clients in our chosen sectors on a broad range of commercial landlord and tenant disputes.
  • Work with our property litigators across the UK advising on all aspects of commercial property disputes (more limited residential disputes) and estate management issues.
  • To achieve the budgets set by the firm.
  • To assist others in the achievement of their objectives.
  • To work so as to achieve the firm's business objectives.
  • To participate in business development initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be able to demonstrate a similar supportive, flexible and driven ethos and will have accumulated the following experience and skills:

  • Qualified solicitor 3yrs + PQE
  • Must have experience in working in Real Estate.
  • Ability to juggle a busy and varied workload
  • Enthusiastic & team approach to working
