Senior Case Handler - Lender Sales

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Case Handler to join our busy Lender Sales team. This team deal with the sales of those properties that have been taken into possession.  This is traditional conveyancing with a twist due to the nature of the work undertaken.

As a member of our Support team you will be a vital part of our continued success. There isn't an "us and them" mentality and you will be recognised for your hard work and support.

Role Responsibility

As a Senior Case Handler you will; 

  • Manage files from start to finish/ take responsibility for running your own caseload.
  • Critically analyse the implications of various legal and/ or practical issues arising on sale and draft concise advice, options & recommendations to clients
  • Regularly update clients and asset managers as to progress of matters.
  • In the absence of the Team Manager take responsibility  for ensuring that workflows are actioned and keep the Team Manager fully informed of levels of work in team.
  • Providing technical support on practical conveyancing issues and legal problems to other members of Lender Sales.

The Ideal Candidate

Our employees are talented people, distinguished by technical excellence, with a willingness to embrace team working and a passion for client service. You will be able to demonstrate a similar supportive, flexible and driven ethos and will have accumulated the following experience and skills:

  • At least 18 months experience in conveyancing.
  • Experience in checking both freehold and leasehold titles and reporting issues to clients.
  • Familiar with types of indemnity policies available to cover title defects.
  • Experience in drafting deeds and documents.
  • Experience in providing structured advice to clients on legal and/ or procedural issues.
  • Experience of Shared Ownership.
